Read a vendor's COA in context

Keep the product, batch, report, and vendor statement together when reviewing testing documentation.

  • Connect the report to the listing

Ask the vendor which batch or lot it currently lists and which certificate of analysis covers that batch. Keep the product name, report identifier, laboratory name, and date together.

A document for a different batch or an example report does not establish the results for the item you are reviewing. Ask the vendor to explain the connection rather than infer it from a product-page badge.

  • Read what the report actually includes

Use the report's own test names, results, units, and stated limits. If a result or method is unclear, ask the issuing laboratory or vendor to explain it. Do not extend a result to a test the document does not report.

The name of a test alone is not a result. PeptideSpend does not interpret testing documents as a product certification or a finding of suitability.

  • Keep price evidence and testing evidence separate

A PeptideSpend price match checks a listed amount against a price source. Our market labels compare listed prices. Neither evaluates laboratory work or authenticates a certificate.

We describe vendor testing claims as vendor-stated. We do not perform tests, independently verify COAs, or certify products.
